There Is No Silver Bullet for GTM Challenges
If you’re hoping to solve your GTM challenges by…
❌ Hiring a new executive
❌ Buying a new tool
❌ Adding more headcount
…allow me to save you time and money.
First, frame the problem. None of those “fixes” will work if you don’t know what the real issues are (and I promise there’s more than one).
Map them out. See the connections. Understand what’s getting in the way of your goals.
Then — and only then — build the plan:
✔ Phased approach
✔ Realistic timelines
✔ Change management and communication
✔ Coaching to bring your team along
Skip these steps, and in 6–12 months you’ll be right back where you started - only with more burnout, wasted dollars, and lost time.
If your team has the skills and bandwidth to do this, fantastic. If not, invest in outside help (consultants, fractional leads, specialists). The cost up front is far less than the price of staying stuck.
When GTM challenges show up as missed revenue, high churn, rising CAC, or employee fatigue: PAUSE.
Get clear on where you want to be, identify the blockers, then build the plan: which may include a new hire, tools, or headcount as part of the solution.
There is no silver bullet. But there is a way.
